These terms apply to your use of the The Sports Punter website and services. By creating an account or buying a plan you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who can use the service
You must be 18 years or older. The service is not for anyone under 18. You are responsible for making sure that using betting-related information is lawful where you live.
2. What the service is
The Sports Punter provides football analysis and consultancy: statistical estimates, squad and team-news assessments and suggested picks. It is information only. It is not financial advice and not a promise of any result. Football is unpredictable, and picks can and do lose.
3. The fee is a consultancy fee
The price of a plan is a fee for access to our analysis and consultancy for the period you buy. It is not a bet, a stake or a deposit, and The Sports Punter does not operate betting or gambling. Any bet you place is placed with a third party at your own risk. Never bet money you cannot afford to lose. If gambling is causing you problems, please seek help.
4. Accounts
You need an account to buy a plan. Keep your sign-in details private and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
5. Plans, prices and payment
- Plans are Free, Medium and Premium. What each includes is described on the About page and the plan screen.
- A plan lasts 1 day, 7 days (1 week), 30 days (1 month) or 365 days (1 year) from the moment payment is confirmed. Buying the same plan again while it is running adds the new period to the end.
- Prices are shown before you pay. Payment is taken through our payment partner (mobile money). We do not see or store your mobile-money PIN.
- When a plan ends, your account returns to Free. Plans do not renew automatically.
- We may change prices or what a plan includes. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
6. No refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable under any circumstances. Please read our Refund Policy.
7. Using the content
Premium and Medium content is for your own personal use. You may not copy, resell, publish or share our picks, assessments or other paid content with others, or use automated tools to collect it. We may suspend or close an account that does, without refund.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Match details, team news and prices can change, and information may sometimes be late or wrong.
9. Limits of our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Sports Punter is not responsible for any loss, including betting losses, that you suffer from using or relying on the service. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the plan the claim relates to.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
